Meet Megan – I shoot her pretty much every x-mas and wow – this year she went from a fun little girl to a Beauty!

Yes….you’re seeing this right – they are laying in the grass!

Meet Holly & Robbie – they were up for ANYTHING. Holly came to my studio to see some of my wedding stuff and cried looking at other peoples wedding photos – I knew we’d get along great! She didn’t want anything traditional, she loved the natural light look & asked me to just “have fun” and to step outside of the box. Ah – a girl after my own heart.

There is only ONE recommendation I might make to this couple and thier wedding party…..rely a BIT less on your computers spell-check!

Meet Presley. Presley is one of my favorite kind of kids to shoots, she is 18 months and as any mother of a toddler will tell ya that is a “challenging” age.

I love them! Presley was up and down on my ladder (a small one, it’s ok), she used half of my kleenex, her face was VERY clean from her wipes by the time we were done. She decided when we took photos, how we took photos and where we took photos.

I love shooting this age – I just let them think they’re the boss and despite the ladder, wipes and Kleenex…we STILL get amazing stuff. How can you not with eyes like these!

It’s that time of the year….even in TX it’s getting cold but I want you to meet the Smith family. We took these photos and there was still snow on the ground but they didn’t care! Mom added jean jackets to their outfits for the shoot and she and dad decided we WERE going to have fun, relax and get some beautiful photos! So – that’s exactly what we did….and we got the entire shoot done in under 30 minutes!

Thanks mom and dad for being GREAT!!!

Wind, a chill in the air, but look at what we got. Real life is not perfect lighting. Real life is not posed, nor it is without the occasional leaf in your hair. But personally? I think REAL life is breath-takingly beautiful.

Kagen came to me looking for something different. She was looking to have fun and get a bunch of “different looks” and wow – did we ever!

What a fun family to shoot! Many of you know Melissa because she does GREAT hair.
I had a blast shooting you all and let’s be honest…. it doesn’t hurt that your girls are absolutely adorable! ~M
