Me? Oh ya know – a typical Friday night…..

First – I ate pizza in pj’s, told secrets & giggled.

THEN went to a movie and screamed and did more giggling.

THEN took a ride in a Limosine (yes – you read correctly – a LIMO) and trust me – there was a LOTS OF SCREAMING and GIGGLING.

I ended the night at Annie Jewels & Charlies Kids childrens boutique where we ate cake and slept on the floor in sleeping bags.

Ok – so it wasn’t ME doing this – It was Maggie. I was just lucky enough to be a part of the package she got for her b-day (it was a package deal her parents got her from Christmas Magic). I must say – it was a BLAST and what a NICE group of girls. I have to say this one more time….I have the BEST job in the World!

Remember Skyler? We meet for photos every month and February was a great month. Daddy showed up and Skyler was in heaven.

Meet Drew – one of the nicest kids I’ve shot. It’s so refreshing to meet these Seniors who are such gentlemen, AND who have a sense of humor….Drew is a RIOT and a good sport. It was fun getting to know you Drew! ~M

Is there anything better?

Hi all!! I went to Ft.Worth for a long weekend for a Photography & Adobe seminar & I”m back inspired and excited! We spent the first day taking pictures & the second day editing them. The goal was to do something creative, something different to inspire us. It was amazing and I wanted to share some of the images we created!

The first was edited it to appear like an Oriental Tapistry. This was probably my favorite image from the weekend.

Another favorite…….
Those of you who know me know that I love contrast. I love contrast between soft subjects and hard locations, so I was in heaven when we took 4 ballerinas to an old beat up broken down home. LOVED IT!!! It’s art. You’ll be seeing lots of this kind of stuff coming from my studio this year & I’ll be sending out requests for models for some of the ideas I have tucked away, so if YOU have an idea – call me – let’s go outside of the box & just have fun!!!

Next stop was a victorian home. We edited to look like painter. I like it – but it was a bit more “normal” than the others.

Last stop – beautiful model, beautiful tree, amazing sunset. No edits, just a great photo to share with you.

I love that my clients want new and different stuff!!!!!

Meet Heidi and Rylee and baby Will due in March.

Rylee was TIRED of doing what mommy and I wanted by the end of her mommys maternity shoot so instead of drawing on the chalk wall in my studio she decided to color……mommy!

THIS is why I many times follow the kids lead – when you relax and let them have fun you get great stuff! Thanks Rylee!

Sorry Chad -you’ll have to wait until you see her walking down the isle to see the rest!
