This is all ya get to see Chris.
Until 07.12.08…
Konermann Kiddos
Meet Jake & Grace – their mommy was one of my boys’ preschool teachers this summer and anyone who attends School For Little People will tell you how much we all looooooove Mrs. Konermann so I was thrilled to be able to “give back” to her by photographing her beautiful kiddos!
Keeping in the spirit of my “summer-feet-thing”
It is so much fun to shoot siblings who enjoy each other – these two just hung out the entire shoot, we climbed a tree, we raced, we played on the swings & the slide, and of course….we tickled!
Thanks Jake & Gracie for being such good kids and for loving each other.
Give your mom a big hug and your daddy a kiss, our prayers are with him.
Cousins
How do you work with a 1 year old twins, a 1 1/2 year old who LOVES to walk and a 4 year old in a photo-shoot?
VERY QUICKLY!
Twins Andy & Coyt….
came into TX to visit their cousins Rylee & Will….
Despite the mosquitos – we had a great shoot…and yes, we were done in about 20 minutes.
Those of you who follow my work know I have a “think” about babies and feet. Something about those little toes, I love. I find that lately I’m finding lots of fun ways to shoot those 10 little piggies – but I think so far this summer this one is my fav. I know – it’s nothing new or spectacular, but sometimes the beauty of a photo is in it’s simplicity I think.
I lied….THIS one is my favorite. Grandma sat down with the twins, both sitting between her legs side-by-side, suddenly, she began playing pat-a-cake. I don’t know if she even realized exactly what she was doing but she was using a hand from each twin/brother to play. It was a perfect moment…..the kinda stuff you can’t script and I got goose-bumps documenting.
Thanks friends and new-friends for traveling to TX and trusting me with your photos!

My name is Goober Chicken-Dunkin….what’s yours?
…yet again D’s right-hand-gal Vikki gives me my blog-topic.
What the heck…it’s Friday & we all need a little stress-reliever! This only takes a minute.
The following is excerpted from a children’s book, Captain Underpants And the Perilous Plot Professor Poopypants, by Dave Pilkey, in which the evil Professor forces everyone to assume new names… I’ve never heard of these books although I do think Madie came home wanting a book called Captain Underpants that I said no to based on the name…..maybe you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover nor title because this is fun.

The Gilmore Family
Please let me introduce you to some of my friends… Courtney, Greg, Madison & Mia Gilmore
I don’t know what it is about sisters…maybe I love shooting them because I don’t have one. But there is something about sisters….
Madison – she is shy and a quiet blonde but has an opinion on everything and anything. I had to “trick” her to get a natural photo of her because when she saw the camera pointed at her she immediately turned away….oh…and my 5 year old son Garrett…he says one day he’s gonna marry her.
Then there is little Mia. She is a burnet wild-child but is one of the happiest kids around. There was no need trick little Miss-Mia because she was playing for the camera the entire evening. Garrett is allowed to marry her too one day…..is he can catch her.
After fun at the park we went for something different.
One of my fav’s from the shoot…
Oh little sisters… love each other.
You are gifts from God to each other.

Bayler – 3 Months Old!
I LOVE baby-toes!
some cuddles with big sis! I love-love-love these girls. Skyler (big sis) came to me every month her first year and was one of my Womb-To-One kiddos too. She is a pistol and she has my heart. I love those strong willed girls…being that I’m raising one…and based on the stories my mom tells I was one (huge surprise I know)
As promised….
a few more pix of Chase & Aubree’s 06.07.08 Wedding!
The day started off with us all praying for no rain. Like always I showed up waaaaaay early due to my compulsiveness. This was a first though…we beat the bride. Aubree was the most laid back bride I’ve ever worked with. So we got all set up – and started shooting whatever, the little flowergirl was pouting by the water because nobody would let her touch the lilly-pads in the water.
I knew it was gonna be a good day when the first shot out of my camera was one of my favorites of the day.
The rock rocked.
And the cake was as unique as the couple.
All prayers were answered and the rain held off for the beautiful, short, and let’s face it…hot ceremony.
Can’t you tell a happy bride when you see one…and a proud daddy.
I love this shot – that’s Aubree’s sister in the background.
Love this even better…..
Hey 2009 brides…..looking for a great site to get married? Clarke Gardens in Mineral Wells…..check it out.
Congratulations Aubree & Chase – it was a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding.
Thank you for trusting me in documenting it for you!

The Nash Family
Ya know those people who make you want to live your life better?
Those people who inspire you, motivate you, and are just plain fun to be around?
That is Larry Nash & his family.
You are what my grandma would call “good stalk”.
It was my pleasure to photograph your family guys.
Thank you for trusting me with your photos!
Micki
After the posing part was done the boys did what the boys do best, and naturally, it involved a football.
06.07.08
Yep, it was the biggest wedding day of the summer. I spent it in Mineral Wells documenting the BEAUTIFUL wedding ceremony of Chase & Aubree.
Hope Mexico is treating you both well – your REAL blog will be coming soon!
