Yeah – I’m getting crowns today….unfortunately not the Royal kind….the Dentist kind.

My only saving grace is I have 3 friends who work at the dentist office so I can do the drool-vowel-talk-thing that they claim to understand the entire time the Doc. is drilling into my teeth. You know the conversation…

“Are you getting busy taking pictures with all of this warmer weather?”
“Yea, inda…eoou ah auig, ooo eiea aa ige iss”
“Oh, I agree, I’m loving the warm weather but ya know another cold front will hit in March”

I’ll have to admit – I was ready to pick up my camera again when little-Miss-Bayler came in. I’m getting a LOT done during my days, but man-o-man…..this little Missy can make any camera happy.

We started our Feb. shoot for Bayler thinking white, angel wings, soft, pretty & Valentines angel stuff….then Sommer and I Looked at each other and said….”nah” this doesn’t fit…..

Now….hot pink and a black victorian prop?
THAT fits.

Hey….the photographer gets a vacation too…and besides…I was in a swimsuit for 90% of the time so I was in a no-photos-allowed zone.

I have Happy Toes!
I got a pedicure for the first time in MONTHS today!!

I have the GiddyGiggles
I bought a new pair of flip-flops!

I have a Slightly-Heavy Heart.
I’m gonna miss my little people.

Matt and I are are taking a long weekend to the sun and the sand for the weekend….to Mexico!!!

My parents are coming to stay with the kids while we take a few days away to relax and recharge…..oh who am I kidding…..we’re gonna soak in some rays, take 2 hour naps & drink margaritas all day!

Kelly will be in and out of the studio – but if you need to reach me best to e-mail and I’ll respond Monday.

I love me a good list.

When I’m stressed & I can’t sleep I make a list.

When we’re driving in the car I constantly have my red clipboard at my side….so when thoughts pop in my head I can write them down and organize them when I get home…into a list.

Matt and I are gonna head out of town later this week for a long weekend away – WhooHoo! (more on that later) So in preparation for our leaving….I have 6 ongoing lists.
1. To do today
2. To do before leaving Wednesday
3. To do immediately after we get home
4. Items to Pack
5. Things to get done @ home before spring rush
6. Things to get done @ work before spring rush

and no – I’m not kidding.

One of my favorite books is “Lists to Live by – For everything that really matters”.
It’s not a book you read, more a book you might find by a toilet…at my house, it’s at my desk.
Why? Hello? Geek!

Anyway – today, in my effort to avoid things on my lists I found this.. it gave me warm fuzzies….

I’m a sucker for couples whos names start with the same letters……HEY – I’ve NEVER claimed to be cool or without my weird quirks….. After 12 years of signing “family e-mails” as M&M one tends to notice these kinda things!

Meet Chad & Carly.

Most of my fav. pix of this couple they’re looking at each other….
As a photographer it’s so fun to see how couples interact when the camera is on them. Some are “posers” some are “kissers”, these guys? They’re an interesting combination between “laughers & cuddliers”. They would do a silly face, imitate a twirl or invent a funny pose, then they would laugh….but then, for 1/2 second after the giggle they would just look at each other….well….Chad would look…..Carly would gaze.

C&C – the day of your shoot you literally made my day. Up to your shoot it had just been “one of those days” at the studio…..but the two of you and your laid back attitudes literally turned my day around within the first 10 minutes of your shoot. I didn’t want it to end!

Thank you to you both for trusting me with your upcoming wedding and for literally, having enough love between the two of you to share a bit of it with others…..without even knowing you had done so. You have a great connection…..it’s got to have something to do with the double letters.
